White House Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Released

House Democrats have made public a fresh batch of what they termed "disturbing" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 unveiled later on Friday account for a small number of the approximately 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is probing the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking charges.

Prominent Personalities in the Images

Featured among the notable figures visible in the first release are well-known figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Reaction

The White House addressed the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of purposefully "hand-picking" the photographs for partisan aims and to "try and create a false narrative."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative said, insisting that "this presidency has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing thousands of pages of records, and calling for further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Comment

The photos were published lacking captions, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"The moment has come to end this White House cover-up and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a comment.

The release of these images coincides with the oversight committee continuing its inquiry into the affair.
