Tehran is willing to reinitiate atomic discussions with the United States on condition that it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

Abbas Araghchi said exclusively dialogue was effective, and shared recent overtures had come from intermediaries to reopen talks with the American leadership. He claimed Iran possessed no secret atomic facilities, and Iran could not yet authorize the global atomic watchdog to access struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Walking a Complex Course

Araghchi is walking a challenging course since Iran does not want be perceived to be acting from a situation of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out more resilient militarily and psychologically from the joint assault on its enrichment centers in June.
