The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
